Esmeralda came back to the camp, told Fenrig to turn around and started applying the mixture of herbs she prepared on his wound, ''It's getting dark, we should make a fire'' she said while looking at the sky. ''I'll try to catch some rabbits and you take care of the fire'' she added...The night has stalled; our travelers were asleep when Fenrig was awakened by a shimmering light coming from Esmeralda's bag. Curious Fenrig couldn't help but take a look inside the bag, Fenrig opened the bag and saw a book, a book with a glowing red stone embedded in the cover, as soon as Fenrig tried opening it Esmeralda rushed to him and took the book with one hand while putting an ice blade on Fenrig's neck with the other. ''Tell me who you are, but don't utter a single word, with a magical potential such as yours, it would be foolish of me to let you speak'' Esmeralda said, menacingly. ''Who fired the arrow that wounded your shoulder? Why was there ashed on the wound? And most importantly, WHY are you looking in my bag while I was asleep?''She added while handing him a wooden stick. Fenrig started writing on the mud with the stick. '' I don't know, I wanted to know where the light came from'' as soon as he finished his sentence, Fenrig tried taking the blade from here, but his hand slipped and know his palm was bleeding. ‘I don't think you realize how serious I’m right now'' Esmeralda said, furious, while pointing the blade at our hero's eye before she added, “do that again and you'll lose an eye'' Fenrig took the stick once again and write ''It was a stray arrow, I was on my horse when it hit me, I don't know where it came from. Fenrig, now talking, added ''I don't know how come my wounds, cure so quickly, I’m not lying''. ''As soon as your hand is cured, we're parting ways'' answered the young girl while still perplexed. In the morning, Fenrig woke up, to find that the young magician was gone, and his hand as well as new. He packed his things and started moving, he didn't know where he was going he just wanted to get out of this forest. Moments later Fenrig saw a flag from afar, He was relieved to finally reach the end of this damned place, as he approached the flag, he saw a bunch of enormous creatures grazing, not far from them was three wooden shacks. He kept on getting closer until two fully-armored Paladins stopped him. They asked him where he was heading and the he was at the boarders of Diamora, and going there alone is out of the question. If you want to go there you have to be accompanied by a Terge (a desert guide), but it's not that easy to find one, There's not that many people crossing Diamora these days, most of the Terges deserted the region.'' The other Paladind added ''Here's what we can do. I know a Terge, every month he gathers all the people who want to cross the desert and take them through. He needs two or three more people for this month's expedition. Go to those wooden shacks and talk to him''.
