A la porte de la mort, Fenrig se fait recueillir par un peuple perdu au fin fond d’Aintil, il restera un moment et découvrira les coutumes de ce peuple, depuis longtemps oublié. Un peuple dans les fondements sont l’honneur et le courage, ces mêmes qualités qui firent d’eux un peuple perdu.
